In August 2022, Microsoft released a major update to the MS-600 exam Building Applications and Solutions with Microsoft 365 Core Services. Not only did they change the makeup of the exam, but they boosted one workload, cut another, and added two new ones. And the certification you get once you pass the exam changed from being a certified Microsoft 365 developer Associate, to a Teams Application Developer Associate!
Exam prep course updated: three (3) more refreshed chapters
Today, I’m excited to share the second update this month to my MS-600 Exam Prep | Building apps with Microsoft 365 Core Services course.
Earlier this month, I updated two chapters, including a revamped chapter on Microsoft Teams. You can learn more about that update in this article: MS-600 Exam Prep course - November 2022 update & price changes.
Earlier today, I published full refreshes to the three (3) other chapters in the course:
- Chapter 2: Implement Microsoft identity
- Chapter 3: Build apps with Microsoft Graph
- Chapter 4: Extend and customize Microsoft 365 with SharePoint
The first lesson to each of these two chapters, as well as all other chapters in the course, have been published to our YouTube channel. If you aren’t an existing student in the course, you can watch those right now to get a free preview (use the links above).
What’s next for the course?
I’m still planning to add two (2) new chapters to cover the new smaller sections of the exam. I’ll have these done in the coming weeks. All students enrolled in the course will get access to these chapters when they’re published:
- Chapter 6: Design collaborative app solutions and existing app integration
- Chapter 7: Test, deploy, monitor, and maintain modern enterprise-grade app solutions
